I am uncertain. There was a time in which I knew where to walk always. My actions were deliberate, and with purpose. Now, I find myself unsure of everything. I have sufficient enough power to knock aside all obstacles with little effort, and yet I lack the power necessary to dominate a world overrun by lesser beings.
It is maddening. Once, I could pull all creatures in my path from the ground simply by inhaling them. I could scatter them to opposite ends of the Earth by exhaling again. I was worshiped by those I thought worthy of the honor, and terrified by the rest. Gods have built my altars with trembling hands, thinking it might halt my anger when it was directed toward them.
Now, I am less than I was. I am diminished in both form and in power. I am trapped in a shell barely capable of containing what I once was. It is with this body I walk from one community to another. I resist the urge to devour everything in my path, and yet I often fight claustrophobia when surrounded by the mundane structures around me.
I know what I need. I am hesitant to go after it.
I wish for all aspects of life on this world to become clear to me. I have been anchored here, and I can not be content until I have adapted. There is nothing on this world that hasn’t been catalogued and dissected by humans and half-breeds. In order for me to gain the understanding others have taken for granted, I would need their assistance
